Yo como Español discrepo con algún comentario que se produce en el vídeo. Pienso y casi lo confirmo que muchos de los inmigrantes que nos visitan confunden nuestra forma de ser con racismo, simplemente por desconocimiento o prejuicios adquiridos en sus países de origen. Desde luego España no se libra del racismo, además también hay que valorar si el inmigrante se integra y respeta nuestras normas, claro que eso puede producir un cierto rechazo, pero no racismo. Nada tiene que ver con el qué se produce en otros países, también de Hispanoamérica o en los EEUU. No hay que confundir educación con racismo; por ejemplo llamar a un Hispanoamericano "Panchito" , yo particularmente lo encuentro ofensivo, pero simplemente es una falta de respeto no racista; otro ejemplo puede ser llamar "sudaca", no es ofensivo ni racista, pero sí indicativo de su procedencia. También eso ocurre con los Españoles en Hispanoamérica; un ejemplo muy habitual es el llamar "Gallego" / "Tonto" a los Españoles como falta de respeto pero nunca será racismo, eso es ignorancia. Confundir la procedencia de la inmigración que se produjo en los años 30 y guerra civil, mayoritariamente por Gallegos que procedían de los pueblos con muy bajo nivel cultural. Eso dio lugar a pensar que todos los Españoles eran Gallegos. Pero os puedo asegurar y sin miedo a equivocarme, no habrá ningún Español que piense que eso es racismo. Los Españoles seremos muchas cosas, pero cuando emigramos somos trabajadores y siempre queremos integrarnos. Soy nieto de emigrantes con 57 años ya... y por desgracia sabemos lo que es eso, también lo sabemos valorar. Lo que si es importante a tener en cuenta es la inmigración ilegal a la que estamos sometidos por la permisibilidad de el gobierno actual sin tomar medidas regulatorias, y en consecuencia afectar a la convivencia entre nacionales y inmigrantes, produciéndose un rechazo y su posterior confusión con el racismo.

Los españoles tenemos más en común con un italiano o un portugués, pero también con un griego, un croata o un norteafricano, antes que con un latinoamericano. Lo que somos es mediterraneos. Yo no me he considerado latino en mi vida. Y los países de latinoamerica los colonizamos nosotros pero la mente se la han colonizado los yankees.

🇪🇸 Latino es solamente un ente cultural. Francia, España, Portugal, etc, tiene cada cual su cultura idioma e identidad propia y son diferentes. Si me apuras el italiano si se puede considerar el auténtico "Latino" a los demás el término nos viene de refilón. Yo no soy para nada latino.

I find the lack of British knowledge and the use of stereotypes insulting. Some comments are just proud Spanish prerogative, however there are number of comments that are just ignorant. It doesn’t help that most of the Brits they are exposed to are holiday making drunks.

In Madrid I didn’t have too much trouble. In Seville a lot of people don’t speak English. I know a little Spanish, but don’t understand any and I still get by.

That's pretty ironic. At Germany if you don't speak PERFECT German people is very mean, not to say USA "speak English you're in America"

I've got no issues with any Cultures/Country or peoples. I don't know what's going on this last few Years but what is all this Brit bashing or asking questions constantly about the British. There's a hell of a lot worse peoples than the Brits.

I (Englishman) married the daughter of Italian immigrants, one of our standing jokes was "socks and sandolini!", we used to whisper it to our girls when they were little, "look, socks and sandolini" . The American do it as well, god knows why, sort of defeats the object ?

I think out of all the 'north' Europeans, the British & Irish are actually very open compared to people like say the Danish, particularly outside of London. Our openness usually takes the form of banter/joking rather than being all cuddly though. We're cuddly after a few ales though, mind.

The "being scared of speaking a foreign language" is so interesting when it comes to brits. You don't understand that it's just as hard for everyone else learning your language. You also don't understand how much time we had to put in to learn it to be able to speak it well. It just doesn't seem fair that you always think everyone else should do the work and not you. You also have to help out and do your part.
